The date has been set!!
Iowa Corgi Frap aka Picnic at Foggy Bottom, will be Saturday, July 27th.
When: Noonish till ??? We'll aim to eat at noon.
Where: Central City, IA--upon RSVP I'll give you directions if you don't already have them.
Who: Corgis, corgi mixes, corgi wannabe's and their accompaning humans. Please only well behaved dogs with up to date vaccinations. We also welcome those that are in need of a corgi infusion.
The yard is fully fenced, the "pool" will be open for the dogs and people's hot feet. Ducks, chickens, geese and horses to bark at. Loads of room to play in and I might be able to get a nice agility course set up to play on. Lots of conversation, fun and praying for sun.
Please RSVP as we will provide BBQ chicken, grilled sweet corn, lemonade, sun tea and table service. Please bring a side dish to share-salads, chips and ummm-desserts.
For those wishing to hang out till after dark, we are also going to do a little bonfire in the evening and welcome anyone to come over and share some fireside company with us. I know we have a few of Meredith's poultry and dog friends coming over in the evening for this--beware, us poultry folks are odd eggs :) Fun but a strange sense of humor!
