Tis the season for food. Today is no exception. The office decided to hold a cook out. Well as much of a real cook out as you can in downtown and in the parking lot out back, but hey, it was great! Rick grilled burgers and brats. Table set up out back, front door locked and lots of fun. Jeans day as well as wear your favorite team colors. I of course had to borrow something gold and red--ISU--from Alec as all I have is Luther stuff.

Speaking of food, I'm going to start some Christmas cookie prep this weekend. At least get a few batches of hummies and sugar cookies made to put in the freezer. Maybe I can wrangle Bekka into helping out? I have also been requested to make roast garlic and potato soup tomorrow, but it's pizza tonight. Still feeling the effects of the wonderful ham and bean soup that simmered in the crock pot all day yesterday.

I'm thinking about doing a bunch of rosettes this year, everyone liked those and they were so easy to make. Hum, time to stroll the internet for some new patterns!

Hungry yet?

the soup recipe sounds great. It all does, but I love soups.
