Just a shout out to Mom to wish her a Happy Birthday. She took the day off to go do something for herself--buy a new sewing machine! And then stopped over for lunch. We just got back from a wonderful spaghetti dinner at Deb's and lots of chit chatting.
Thyroid news--it's not dead. The test she took was a little false because she was also on supression drugs. She's been off those now and retested. She thinks her thyroid is pretty much dead - she's gaining weight and her hair is growing again! Might not be completely destroyed but at least it's not on maximum overdrive.
So here's to Mom!!! Hope you have a great rest of the day and can't wait to see the new sewing machine!
