Piggie photos!

Pupdates might be a little sparse the next couple of weeks as the cardigan crew heads down to AZ for the National Specialty.  I'm leaving Hubby and Tall Kid in charge and the most I can expect is for them to keep them clean, fat and happy while I'm gone.  Nothing more but photos would be nice, hint hint hint????

Till then here's the four little piggies at a week old.  Honestly, I think we'll see eyes in the next couple of days!

The "I"s have it!

They made it!  4 big fat puppies and Pete really hates me now.  No not really, she's more clingy, looking at me then at the four squirming rats in the whelping box.  Right now she associates them with pain-first big puppy was stuck, not a pleasant experience for either of us.

So here's the photo and the counts.  I'm in need of a nice nap and something to make me feel better-our accounting office has a stomach bug going around.  I think I'm next.

 Top to bottom: "Archie" B/W boy brindle points, 13oz(last one born) "Veroncia" Red brindle girl, 12 oz(3rd born).  "Betty" B/W girl brindle points, 11 oz(2nd born). "Darby" B/W boy, vivid brindle points, no white collar, 13 oz-first born and puppy that was stuck.  Names are simply to keep them straight when talking to people and very subject to change.  The registered names will have "I" in it somewhere.  More on that as we go.

The many stages of comfort

This seems to be the only place she can find comfort.  Not sure how this exactly is comfortable, but to each her own. 

This poor chair has seen a lot of Pete lately.  Though the dark spots on the arm are from Frank, he likes to sit and either drool on it or lick it-ick. 

Xrays on Wednesday.  Hope she last that long.  Hasn't dropped yet but decided this weekend was the best time to become a picky eater.   It's not that she isn't hungry, it's a mouth feel thing.  So now she and I stand with the fridge door wide open and try a little of this or that.

Waiting game

Okay, so the issue is-----I have writer's block.  Sort of.   I guess I have too many things on my mind to be able to put them down on the blog in some thing other then a chaotic mess.  So till I figure this out, a little waiting game being played at our house:

She's not very happy.  That first photo, she can't really do that anymore, at least the way she likes.  And Frankie's squishy face?  He can't fit up in the chair with her now.
